HEALTH & FITNESS (Teams of Two: Catalyst Games Pre-Comp)

 

Event 1:

7 minutes to establish the heaviest weight for each athlete.

– 1 clean + 3 shoulder to overhead

– full or power clean will be allowed, 2 bars for each team 1 women’s 1 men’s,

– score is total weight moved by the team

 

Event 2:

RX:

– 5 minutes to complete 30 bar muscle ups and 60 pistol squats, 2 athletes working on each movement with only one working at a time (2 will choose BMU and 2 will choose pistols, athletes are not allowed to switch movements mid workout)

– each athlete must perform at least 1 rep of their chosen movement

– If athletes finish these movements under the time cap they will perform max reps deadlift (205/115) (one athlete on each bar working at a time)

– Score it total reps completed by the team

 

Modified:

– 5 minutes to complete 40 chest to bar pull ups and 80 KB goblet squats (53/35) 2 athletes working on each movement with only one working at a time (2 will choose C2B PU and 2 will choose goblet squats, athletes are not allowed to switch movements mid workout)

– each athlete must perform at least 1 rep of their chosen movement

– If athletes finish these movements under the time cap they will perform max reps deadlift (135/85) (one athlete on each bar working at a time)

– Score it total reps completed by the team

 

Event 3:

RX:

– Relay style, each athlete will perfom the following movements then tag the next person

– 25 OH squats (95/65), 25 lateral burpees over the bar, 25 toes to bar

– 1 athlete works at a time, athletes must slap hands to switch out

– score is time once all 4 athletes complete a round

– 10 minute time cap

 

Modified:

– Relay style, each athlete will perfom the following movements then tag the next person

– 25 front squats (95/65), 25 lateral burpees over the bar, 25 ab mat sit ups

– 1 athlete works at a time, athletes must slap hands to switch out

– score is time once all 4 athletes complete a round

– 10 minute time cap
