Jason & Roy HarrisI started training in June 2003. It has been an amazing journey for me, and I can truly say Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu had changed my life. I have always had a focus on developing my students to the greatest of their potential. My real passion is to work one on one with students to give them real time in-depth feedback on improving their games based on the knowledge that I have gained from all of my teachers.

I studied seven years under 2nd Degree Black Belt Kyle Saunders, and from Kyle’s instructor, 5th degree Black Belt Roy Harris whom I received my Black Belt in January 2016. I have studied BJJ for five years under Professor Eric Cady who has had a major impact on my game. Much of my game is inspired by these practitioners.

I very much enjoy the community of people that I have come to know and have developed lifelong friendships. We have the best team of instructors and students to work with at Nova BJJ. I am looking forward to the next ten years of developing my game and helping others to develop theirs!
