I began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in January of 2009 under Professor Kyle Saunders. I received my Blue Belt from Kyle in December of 2009. Shortly after that I began training at nova under professor Eric Cady and coach Jason Plaisted. I received my purple belt in April of 2011 and then my brown belt in October of 2014. When I began BJJ I weighed 250 lbs. I’m now 200 lbs and live a much healthier life. BJJ has changed my life mentally and physically.
